Dr. Mouli Chandramouli
Cisco, Inc.

Mouli Chandramouli is an Architect with Cisco Systems, Bangalore. Mouli is currently working on Energy Efficiency of networks and the IETF standards.

Mouli holds M.S. and a Ph.D. degree in Operations Research from the University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ with specialization in Queueing Theory. Mouli Chandramouli worked for 10 years at AT&T Bell Laboratories, NJ and Bell Communications Research, NJ in the areas of performance modeling and traffic analysis of networks.

Later, Mouli joined a start-up company, Dynamicsoft, focusing on SIP and Voice over networks. With the Cisco acquisition of Dynamicsoft, Mouli Chandramouli joined Cisco. The focus of the work was in the areas of MPLS networks and performance analysis. In 2009, Mouli relocated to Cisco, Bangalore working on Solution Architectures for Emerging markets.

Mr. Devasenapathi P Seetharamakrish
IBM India

Deva Seetharam leads IBM India's Smarter Energy research initiatives. Previously, he led France Telecom's electronic paper display research group in Boston. He has also worked on various embedded wireless networking technologies including active RFID and wireless sensor networks. On the entrepreneurial side, he co-founded RadioSherpa, a company that developed innovative HD Radio technologies and applications, and he was instrumental in selling the company to RadioTime Inc. He holds a MS degree from the MIT Media Laboratory and a BE degree from the Bharathiar University.

 

Prof. Dr. Krishna Kant
National Science Foundation 

Krishna Kant is currently a research professor at Center for Secure Information Systems at George Mason University, and also serving as a program director in the CISE/CNS division of the National Science Foundation. His current areas of research include power/thermal issues in data centers, robustness in the domain name service, and cloud computing security. From 1997 until 2008 he was with Intel corporation, working primarily in a variety of server technologies. From 1991 to 1997, he was with Telcordia Technologies (formerly Bellcore) and worked on SS7 signaling and congestion control. Prior to 1991, he was an Associate Professor of Computer Science at Penn State University. He is the author of the graduate text book Introduction to Computer System Performance Modeling, McGraw Hill 1992. He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from University of Texas at Dallas in 1981.

 

Dr. Puneet Sharma
HP Labs

Puneet Sharma is a Principal Research Scientist at HP Labs where he conducts research on Data Center Networks, Cloud Architectures, Network Monitoring and Mobility. Prior to joining the HP Labs, he received his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Southern California. He also holds a B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. His work on Mobile Collaborative Communities was featured in the New Scientist Magazine. Currently his research focuses on building programmable networks, energy efficient networks and QoS mechanisms for fabric convergence.He has  participated in various standardization efforts. Recently he contributed to the UPnP's QoS Working Group efforts as co-author for QoSv3 standards. Earlier, he had co-authored the IETF standards' RFCs on the multicast routing protocol PIM. Puneet is Track Co-Chair for Networking for Sustainability and Energy Efficiency of IEEE ICCCN 2012 and Co-Chaired the 13th IEEE LANMAN Workshop in April 2004. Puneet is a Distinguished Scientist of the ACM and a Senior member of the IEEE

 

Mr. Prabhakar T V
Indian Institute of Science

Mr. Prabhakar T V is a Senior Scientific Officer in Centre for Electronics Design and Technology, Indian Institute of Science. He completed his M Sc (Engg) from IISc in the area related to QoS for 3G networks.  His areas of interest is in Networked Embedded Systems with Energy Harvesting Technologies as the prime focus.  He has conducted a number of training programs related to IPv6 dissemination to academia, Internet Service Providers and Industries.

 

Prof. Dr. Vinod Sharma
Indian Institute of Science

Vinod Sharma completed his B.Tech in 1978 from IIT Delhi and PhD in 1984 from CMU in Pittsburgh in Electrical Engg. He worked in Northeastern Univ in Boston and UCLA before joining Indian Institute of Science in 1988 where currently he is a Professor  of Electrical Communication Engg Dept. He is on the editorial boards of the INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF INFORMATION AND CODING THEORY, Inderscience, the JOURNAL OF ELECTRICAL AND COMPUTER ENGINEERING, Hindawi, and the INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF ADVANCED COMPUTER ENGINEERING, Serials Publications.
